I worked in corporate sector for almost 15 yrs. During this 15years I worked for india's best companies which includes Icici prudential, Kotak Mahindra, Edelweiss Tokio and DHFL premarica. After enriching my self with a strong experience of 15years I felt a need to build something of myself. It was not an easy decision but I was confident about making this decision. The setup which I have started is "The bima basket" and is meant to serve clients across to provide them best available solutions. Insurance in my view is completely under served market and there is big opportunity in this area. There are always few challenges in starting your own set-up. The 1st challenge is to get like minded people together who help you build the business. 2nd challenge definitely is about building a brand. India if I talk about is a very competitive market and it takes a while to establish yourself. Last one year have been very unusual in how we have seen the ups and downs. Insurance is traditionally something which people buy during face to face meeting between two persons and suddenly in March 2020 everything was shut down. But this tough time also bought a opportunity for the industry as customers have shown a significant interest in protection means term insurance and health insurance. Now because of this surge people have started to look out for solutions on their own and people are now very much comfortable in meeting digitally. Our aspiration is to help the buyer choose and assist the buyer in making the right choice. We are very keen, positive and energized for the future and definitely make a positive difference in the industry.
